Come join our table as we celebrate Native American Heritage Month. L&F Kitchen Manager Jenny Reeves plans a special meal to help us commemorate this nation’s Indigenous People. Since 1990, National Native American Heritage Month celebrates the month of November as a time to reflect on the rich traditions and accomplishments, as well as the suffering and injustices, that mark the history of American Indians and Alaska Natives. The first American Indian Day in a state was declared on the second Saturday in May 1916 by the governor of New York. Several states celebrate the fourth Friday in September. Presently, several states have designated Columbus Day as Native American Day. However, it continues to be a day observed without any recognition as a national legal holiday. Learn more at
